Wedding Reception
	My preparation for your special day, arriving at the reception venue at about the same time you are entering the church. I will meet and liase with the banqueting manager or head waiter, check the seating arrangements, table plans, place cards, and check all the facilities of the venue including, the public address system. Agree with the banqueting manager the position of the receiving line and the arrangement for serving of the welcome drinks to the guest. At this time I will change into my regalia, ready to greet the bridal party on its arrival and to ensure the photographer and video operator have the time to take all your arrival photographs before assembling the receiving line. After all of the guest have been announced and received I will liase with the banqueting manager and the photographer and call the guest to their places at the table, at the appropriate time. I then escort the bride and groom to the top table, during the meal I keep a watchful eye on the proceedings to ensure no delays, and to be available to the host for any special requirements, and arrange the cake cutting ceremony at the agreed time. I will announce the speakers in turn after the meal is over and the champagne is poured. Preparation for dancing start soon as the best man has finished speaking and my duties usually conclude with the announcement of the bride bridegroom onto the dance floor to lead off the dancing, and for you to have a fantastic evening.
